The Amped Pico brings a fresh new look to Amped’s smallest electric balance bike. Finished in distinctive Pico Green with contrasting brown saddle, grips and tyres, it’s based on the proven Amped A10 platform but with a completely different style of its own.
The Amped A10 is the ultimate bridge between a transition from a balance bike to a motorcycle. Purpose-built for children aged 3+, it provides a safe, exhilarating platform to master the fundamentals of throttle control and balance.

Designed to bridge the gap between a conventional balance bike and a motorcycle, the Pico gives younger riders a simple way to start developing balance, throttle control and braking skills before progressing onto larger bikes. Underneath the new styling, the Pico shares the same specification as the Amped A10, including a 240W peak rear hub motor, removable 18V lithium battery and two selectable speed modes.

Two Speed Modes:
The Pico features two selectable riding modes, allowing its performance to be matched to the rider’s confidence and experience.
Eco mode limits the bike to approximately 6km/h, providing a controlled introduction to powered riding. Once they’re ready for a little more speed, Boost mode increases the maximum speed to approximately 10km/h.
It’s a simple setup that allows younger riders to get comfortable with balancing, braking and using the throttle before progressing to the bike’s full speed.
240W Peak Rear Hub Motor:
Power comes from a compact XF05H-2 rear hub motor, producing up to 240W peak power and 20Nm of torque.
With the motor built directly into the rear wheel, there’s no exposed chain or conventional drivetrain to worry about, helping keep the Pico simple and tidy.
A motorcycle-style twist-grip throttle also introduces riders to the same basic throttle movement they’ll encounter as they progress onto larger electric bikes.
Removable 18V Lithium Battery:
The Pico uses a removable 18V lithium battery, making charging straightforward and allowing the battery to be removed from the bike when required.
The battery sits neatly beneath the frame, helping to keep the centre of gravity low while maintaining the Pico’s clean, uncluttered appearance.
Lightweight Aluminium Frame:
The Pico’s TIG-welded aluminium frame keeps weight down, making the bike easier for younger riders to handle and much easier for parents to lift into the car or carry when the riding is finished.
Its low 400mm seat height keeps the bike approachable and makes it easier for riders to get their feet down while developing their balance and confidence.
The distinctive five-spoke alloy wheels complete the look and give the Pico a much more substantial appearance than a conventional balance bike.
Brake Safety Cut-Out:
An important feature for riders learning throttle control is the Pico’s brake safety cut-out system.
When the brake is applied, power to the motor is cut. This prevents the motor from continuing to drive while the rider is trying to stop and helps younger riders learn how the throttle and brake controls work together.
Clean, Protected Design:
The Pico keeps the clean design of the A10 platform, with the cables and electrical components neatly incorporated into the bike rather than leaving unnecessary wiring exposed.
The underside is also enclosed to provide additional protection to the electrical components while maintaining the bike’s streamlined appearance.
Optional Front Basket – Not Included
The front basket shown in some of the product images is available as an optional extra and is not included with the Pico as standard.
It has been chosen to complement the Pico’s distinctive green and brown colour scheme and gives the bike an even more individual look while adding a handy bit of storage.
